As a Doctor of Osteopathy, Dr. Marshall treats the whole person and always takes time to align his patients’ expectations with their surgery.

Dr. Marshall’s VALUES

Dr. Marshall chose a career in medicine while still in high school, and every step along the way he has strengthened his commitment to helping patients achieve their best possible function and appearance.

While growing up in New Orleans, his dedication started early with a fascination in his father’s surgical instruments and medical textbooks. It matured through his many years of training, beginning with a research fellowship in sports medicine working with elite athletes in Vail, Colorado. He chose medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, the first Osteopathic medical school in the country.  He then completed a residency in General Surgery and a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, both at prestigious hospitals in the Northeast.

As a Doctor of Osteopathy, Dr. Marshall is dedicated to treating not just the body, but also to caring for the mind and spirit of his patients. That means listening carefully and partnering with you to understand your goals. Dr. Marshall will then tailor a specific plan to help you look and feel your absolute best.  Perhaps most importantly, he prides himself on close, empathetic attention as you heal and recover.

Today Dr. Marshall is exactly where he wants to be — in the Rocky Mountain West, using his exceptional skills to improve the minds, bodies, and spirits of his patients.

Dr. Marshall’s PROCESS

If you are considering a reconstructive or cosmetic procedure, your first step is to make an appointment  for a consultation with Dr. Marshall. He will spend time with you to help clarify your goals and explain what the likely surgical outcome will be.

Your health is the No. 1 priority, so Dr. Marshall will review your medical history to learn about anything that could affect your surgery or recovery. That could include previous or current medical conditions, medications you are taking, previous surgeries and any health problems that run in your family.

Since cosmetic surgery changes your appearance, it’s important to make the right decisions about how to proceed. Dr. Marshall will let you know what is possible in your individual case, what to expect during your recovery and how long the results will last.

In some cases the results a patient wants may not be possible. Dr. Marshall will always be honest and direct in explaining these limitations. He is also an expert at understanding your goals, and may be able to suggest another procedure that will give you an even better result.

Once you and Dr. Marshall have determined which procedure will work best for you, he will explain each step of the process and answer all your questions. When you are comfortable with how your care will proceed, Dr. Marshall’s staff will arrange an appointment that fits your schedule.

Some cosmetic procedures can be covered under your insurance. Dr. Marshall’s staff will guide you through the process of submitting your insurance claim.
